Sofia Vergara
Sofia Margarita Vergara Vergara grew her childhood in Barranquilla. The mother of her child, Margarita Vergara Davila Vergara, has a job as a domestic. Julio Enrique Vergara Robayo provides cattle for meat processing industries. She is the youngest of five sisters. She was a student at a private bilingual school in Spanish as well as English. Then she studied pre-dental. Sofia, however, was discovered at the seaside by a professional photographer. The result was being offered a variety of modeling and TV roles. When she was 23, she became a runway model. Between 1995 and 1998, she was co-hosting a traveling show, Fuera de serie (1995) and gained her recognition in the United States. The first movie role she played was on the crime-comedy Big Trouble (2002). Gloria Delgado Pritchett was the part that led her to become the main character on Modern Family, an American television show (2009). Her Emmy nominations ranged from the period 2010 to 2013 for Outstanding Supporting Actress on the Comedy Series. Sofia currently lives in Los Angeles with her son Manolo.
