Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the young age of fourteen. She began training in kickboxing boxing wrestling, and BJJ. She made her first amateur appearance at 18 in WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd built on this victory and began a 3 fight win streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round in each fight. After that, she went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen by unanimous decision. It left a blemish on her record as an amateur. Ladd bounced back from defeat in the final by beating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen became a professional in the year 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta eleven saw Aspen take on Ana Carolina Vidal to score an KO early in the round. Invicta 16 also saw Aspen move from Bantamweight to her fight with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen's dazzling wrestling ability was able to take down McGill in the first round, and she managed to finish her fight in the third round with a TKO (elbows and punches). Aspen continued to face Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 at a catchweight at 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, however, Aspen took the victory and defeated Hoy via TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her last bout for the organization. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks be defeated in a unanimous verdict. The debut of Aspen Ladd's UFC debut came on UFC Fight Night 118 when she fought Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round later in the second. Her next fight, against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229, her victory was more spectacular. Ladd defeated Evinger in the first round, and was awarded an outstanding performance bonus. Sijara Eubanks from Invicta FC was her opponent in a rematch at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was Ladd's first big fight. Ladd's victory was a unanimous decision as well as she was awarded the Fight of the Night award went to each fighter. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd within just 16 seconds, ending her win streak. In the third round of UFC on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. In a recent match replacement to UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. The fight was unanimously decided in her favor.
